TAOL CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL LOCKSMITH (TCPL) BY EXAMINATION TCPL
The Association of Ontario Locksmiths has undertaken a voluntary testing program. The purpose of the TCPL designation is to give the public confidence that the locksmith has a high degree of knowledge. The subject matters covered in the first sections of the test are keys, key types, locks and functions. There are also more specialized areas such as master keying, Impressioning, door closers, panic exit devices and other types of hardware including aluminium doors. The TCPL test takes approximately three hours to complete. A certificate is awarded to those who achieve a passing mark of 75% or higher.

Non-members $ 50.00
Two to four hours is the average time to finish this challenging exam.......if you pass (over 75%) You will receive the coveted TCPL designation!
