The OBC class for students is set for Feb 21 2010 Sunday

It will be focusing on questions students will have starting out in the industry. What they can and can not do!

Max. 20 students. Location is at the IR office in Mississauga

Course Date: Sunday –February 21st, 2010

Location: IRST Mississauga, Solutions Centre, 1076 Lakeshore Road East.

Time: 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Lunch will be provided.

This class is for TAOL Members - provides information to understand and/or interpret Life Safety Codes and the Ontario Building Code as it relates to Door Hardware.

You will be more informed on how to avoid liability and preserve labels and code compliance. Attendees are introduced to those specific parts of the Life Safety code that affect the selection application and installation of doors, frames and hardware.

You will learn to
Select hardware that complies with life safety codes
Avoid practices that may compromise the fire rating of an opening
Learn about delayed egress and automatic door operator - code issues.
